glances and peeks

for every fortnight last year i would buy Galaxie. other than music, celeb's latest news and fans letters, there is a section where lists off fresh new books and suggested ones are compiled in two pages within the mags. i would usually flip from pages to pages and the books section are not one that i would stare for some long minutes, not a fav.

but, i have no idea on how i could stumble upon a random novel in those list of books and become immediately hooked. i would blame the cover, and the briefing of the story. had me interested in reading it further. no, i have not bought it yet but i will. this is what i have said about a year ago but the book is still not with me. darnit

Thirst No.1; Alisa is a five thousand year-old vampire that lived under the radar, lived like any other human, mantains her secrets. feeds but does not kill. until her dead creator returns to hunt her. in order to keep her immortality she must find Ray, a person who would help him in things that are at stake and in the process, have fallen in love

i haven't read about the other two book(synopsis) ,but i will urge myself to buy at least one this raya. Undoubtedly inspired by the Twilight phenomenon, me and some others say, the characters are very developed, storyline are action packed, as well as religion (Hinduism, Christianity, The Temple of Set, general Mysticism and Satanism), sex and violence. The movies are out i think, not in our country yet, The Last Vampire. guess this one can beat Twilight huh. id like to find myself entertained soon.
