damn random

flicking around old family albums, strings of memory flashes in my head continously, thou, some appeared to be more appealing than the rest;

rest of my family and i are heading home from kelantan to johor, then we bumped into some goat or something, this was then, a loooooong time ago;


aku : eh, babi!

abang 1: tu kambing la ngok

abang 2: nenek kau la aja bende tu babi.

aku : tu babi la, babi kan ade tanduk (membulatkan mate, kening dirapatkan)

semua: (diam seketika, merenung tepat kearah ayah)

ayah: apehal korang ni? (menggaru kepala, seperti tidak mengerti)


and i always ask mum questions about, i dunno, anything, randomly. she would wore that righteous and confident face every time she gave an answer to my question;


aku: mak

mak: ye sayang?

aku: ni ikan ape? (sambil menuding jari kearah skrin tv)

mak: ikan JOS nama dia.

aku: (garu kepala, mengeluarkan buku latihan bergambar dari beg tadika) ibal tulis kat sini ea?

mak: ha yelahh.

aku: ni ade lima petak kosong; _ _ _ _ _ , hmm JOS tiga huruf, tapi ade lima petak ni, tulis jela J O S S S


the next day, teacher selak2 all our books. giddy and excited, showed mine to her first, the next thing i know is that my face have made a contact with the book, how come? i dunno, must have fallen from the sky.* yea, damn right, it's SHARK for shark's sake
